Diversity is a hallmark of the newly revitalized Tower grove neighborhood. A mix of different ethnic backgrounds, income levels, and orientations has lead to a blossoming of great restaurants, friendly neighborhood cafes, and neighborly residential blocks.
The architecture in Tower Grove reflects the rich heritage of St. Louis. Homes are primarily brick with older Victorians homes sprinkled in. Many homes have oak flooring, leaded glass windows, fireplaces, french doors and more. There’s a great housing rehab culture, which has turned many of the older duplexes and unused storefronts into housing for single families.
